![]() ![]() Slightly pull the Vive Flow away from your face, to keep the Flow on and also see down at your phone. Using the Vive Flow start phone mirroring (Starts mirroring the phone like normal). Make sure to have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse paired with your phone, with both turned on. Phone will now ask you for your pattern for unlocking your phone.Power options will appear (Power Off - Restart - etc), at the bottom will be an option that says - side key settings.Press and hold the physical power button on the side of your phone.You can now check and move around your mouse and you will see your mouse cursor. Got a new phone, Needed some really important data that was stuck in my S20. Tried to remote unlock using my samsung account (would have worked but I did not activate it previously on my phone) Got stuck in black/grey screen because phone required a pattern. I have not previously used DEX even once so win-w doesn't work. Connected my Samsung S20 to my Samsung TV (showed black/grey lockscreen). Phone vibrates when I plug it in, so I know its charging and working (only the screen is broken) Unfortunately I tried to hard restart on my phone because I thought it would fix it (did not work) ![]() Completely broken screen (no touch, no display) Use pattern unlock on my S20 aside from fingerprint/face scanner. I found this thread because I got into the exact same predicament. In the past I would leave the phone plugged into external monitor for a few hours and all of a sudden the phone screen would come back on. From here you should be able to continue mirroring phone or click the "Start Dex" at the bottom. Go to the Settings>Connected Devices>Samsung Dex> (make sure the "auto start when HDMI is connected" is turned on). Hit the HOME button on the bottom, you should now see your phone screen and everything. You should be prompt with the Bluetooth screen or not and the call screen in the background. Step 3: Type or swipe password with the mouse. HIT the Bluetooth icon and it will ask for password. Step 2: On the call screen, move your mouse up to the clock and wifi area, CLICK that area and the "wifi, Bluetooth, portrait, flashlight etc." screen pops up. You should be able to see call screen on external monitor. The call screen will show up on the external monitor, pick up by swiping or using mouse. ![]() Have someone or use someone's phone to call yourself. Tried everything and even managed to accidentally called 911 through the blank/ clock screen. I had the same problem as well, couldn't get the lock screen to pull up for unlocking.
